From a young age in Long Island, NY, Peter Spiegel’s dreams were different from most kids. While others pondered future careers, Peter was laser-focused on how he can make the world a better place for everyone. His path wasn’t clear yet, but his inner calling was loud and clear—to make an impactful change and tackle the world’s most significant problems.

After high school, Peter embarked on a profound quest to uncover the purpose of his life and the key to lasting happiness. He immersed himself in diverse experiences, working on an organic farm in the Smoky Mountains, teaching meditation, and studying Chinese medicine with renowned doctors in London. His journey also led him to New York City, where he shared his knowledge of alternative medicine.

After graduating with a degree in Human Development from SUNY, Peter was determined to align his livelihood with his values. He started a small natural foods business and turned it into a thriving business, which he sold in 1989.

Seeking a broader platform for his ideas, Peter ventured into television direct-to-consumer marketing, pioneering a blend of mass communication and innovative product solutions. His creations addressed real problems and were in such demand that they found their way onto the shelves of major retailers like Walmart, Bed Bath and Beyond, Target, and Costco.

In 2007, Peter took a pivotal step in his career. He bought out his business partners and made a solemn commitment—to use his product innovation, marketing skills, and company resources to enhance the health and quality of life of his customers. Joined by his life partner, Katie Williams, he founded Ideal Living, a company driven by ethics and social responsibility.

Today, many years later, Peter Spiegel has found the happiness he sought in his life’s purpose—serving others and making the world a better place. His journey is a testament to the power of choosing the right path over the easy one and the profound impact one person can have on the lives of many.
